Connecting farms to industry

About

Specialized in coffee and black pepper exportation, Rauscher Commodities Traders was founded in 1986 by director and partner Edgard Rauscher Filho — a member of a German family with a legacy spanning over three generations in the coffee industry.

Brazil and Germany have long stood at the center of the global coffee trade, and Rauscher's roots are firmly embedded in both. The company is headquartered in Santos, home to the largest port in Latin America and responsible for handling approximately 80% of Brazil's entire coffee export volume.

Until the late 1970s, Santos also housed the renowned Coffee Stock Exchange — the exclusive marketplace for Brazilian coffee market transactions, and a symbol of the city's historic role in shaping the world's most widely consumed beverage.

What we do

Rauscher Commodities Traders operates in agricultural commodity negotiations, serving as an intermediary between agribusiness producers, merchants, and major retail brands. With over 40 years of experience, our team provides the full range of support required to build and sustain productive business relationships, identifying the best strategies and opportunities to secure competitive market prices.

Our commercial transactions are grounded in market consultancy and crop data analysis, ensuring our clients receive sound deals backed by reliability and transparency. Beyond coffee, we also export black pepper, popcorn, cardamom, and soy.
